Ikelite Dome port for Nikon 18-105 lens #5503.82

Because of refraction of water flat ports reduce the angle of a lens and so they magnify the image. You do not want this with wide angle photography and before you use a convex dome port.

This dome port cancelled the refraction of water and ensures that the angle of your lens is the same both above and below water. This makes a dome port ideal for eg. half-half shots or wide-angle / fisheye photography.

Domes are recommended for lenses 28mm and wider to preserve the full angle of coverage. Zoom lenses that do not focus to 12 inches (30 cm) require a +4 diopter close-up lens.

This lens requires the addition of a +4 close-up lens to focus properly behind a dome underwater.
